“We don’t have to do all of it alone. We were never meant to.” – Brené Brown
As a Licensed Professional Counselor, my goal is to work with Children,
Adolescents and Adults. I use a variety of therapeutic modalities and apply
research-based techniques. My counseling philosophy can best be described as
Eclectic, based on the needs of the individual. I work on awareness, relationship,
and integration to encourage personal growth and wholeness. I firmly believe
that people can reach their best potential given the right support and tools for change.
I have worked and lived in the greater Lansing area for over 40 years. I have an
extensive background with children and adolescents having worked for Lansing
Public Schools as an early childhood educator and with at risk teens. I also
served as a mobile crisis counselor for one year providing counseling for at risk
youth in the Eaton, Ingham and Clinton county area as well as serving as an
independent Professional Mental Health Counselor since 2017.
