I use a strengths based approach with every client I interact with. I believe that building up a client’s self esteem and creating a strong sense of self is an integral part of the therapy process. I don’t believe therapy should be seen as a “chore”, instead something to look forward to and maybe even have a fun time experiencing!
I have worked with the Department of Health and Human Services in their child welfare unit, specifically within the foster care and adoptions sector. I completed my Master’s level internship with Arbor Circle working with clients in both individual and group settings, as well as with individuals experiencing incarceration.
