Krystal Rau, LPC - Offering Face to Face/Telehealth

Mental Health Therapist

My approach is centered on meeting the individual where they are at and helping them to feel comfortable expressing their emotions and story of their life. I believe that people have situations happen in their life where they need support and acceptance and that in order to express those emotions, they need to feel comfortable and accepted. I strive to create a positive therapeutic alliance with my clients so that they feel comfortable enough to express themselves in order to grow throughout life. I work with clients on their goals and explore ways to reach those goals that are realistic given each persons current place in life.

I have worked in a partial hospitalization program as a group therapist and also assisted in performing individual therapy sessions. I have worked with ages 10 and up, in both a group setting and in outpatient therapy setting. I have worked with individuals suffering with depression, anxiety, trauma and self harm behaviors and have also worked with people needing support in life transitions.
