Conflict and change are inevitable in life, and my goal is to foster acceptance, hope and authentic partnerships throughout the therapeutic process of discovery and growth. To this end, my care philosophy is holistic, oriented toward positive change, and focused on maximizing personal strengths.
I previously worked as a licensed clinical psychologist for Clinton-Eaton-Ingham Community Mental Health and the Michigan State University Counseling Center. In addition to private practice, I am currently Director of Wellness and Counseling in the MSU College of Osteopathic Medicine, and an adjunct faculty in the MSU Department of Psychiatry. Prior to college, I served for five years in the United States Navy as a Hospital Corpsman, Third Class.
