Emotional pain cannot kill you, but running from it can. Allow. Embrace. Let yourself feel. Let yourself heal. – Vironika Tugaleva
My approach to therapy is rooted in understanding, compassion, and evidence-based techniques. Being with me feels relaxed, approachable, and genuine, much like a comforting chat over coffee. I firmly believe that therapy is a collaborative journey where the therapist and client work hand in hand to navigate challenges and seek growth. My style is both empathetic and proactive, aiming to help individuals reframe unhelpful thought patterns and build effective coping mechanisms. While specific modalities like CBT and DBT are cornerstones of my practice, it’s the genuine connection and trust we build together that truly facilitates change.
Prior to joining Therapy Today, I earned my Master’s of Social Work from the University of Michigan. I have worked extensively with children, teens, and young adults in an outpatient setting, guiding them through their unique journeys and challenges. I have worked with a diverse range of individuals, from young children navigating early life experiences, to teens addressing mental health challenges, to parents seeking guidance on managing their children’s behaviors. My methods have been tailored to each demographic, always prioritizing the individual’s unique needs and context.
