I take pride in being a listening ear, with non-judgmental sensitivity. Ultimately, my goal is to provide tools that will aid the client’s ability to find clarity in their challenges, and to continue applying those tools in other aspects of their life.
I have worked in the mental health field for over 16 years. During this time, I have had experience in working with various age groups from adolescents to adult seniors. I have provided substance abuse treatment, parenting supervision, and parenting skills/education groups and parenting support groups for clients involved in Sobriety Court and Friend of the Court. I have facilitated substance abuse groups in 6 different county jails and within the prisons system with Level 1, 2, and 3 prisoners. During this time I also provided sexual offender assessments and groups, for sex offender parolees for the Michigan Department of Correction (MDOC).
