I believe that when a person experiences trauma or life stressors, it can be quite common for life to feel as though it is unraveling. I take pride in bringing healing to people who have been through trauma/stressful experiences. My job is to help my clients who include adults, children and families to find healthy perceptions of themselves, different coping skills and a new found strength within themselves to take on the world and thrive. I know no single approach is the right one for every individual so I am trained in a range of modalities. I do however focus on a person-centered approach to create a safe therapeutic space, a genuine therapeutic relationship and unconditional positive regard for my clients.

After earning my B.A in Child Development and Family Studies I went on to earn my M.A in Counseling with a duel concentration in Mental Health Counseling and School Counseling after graduating in 2018 from Central Michigan University. Through the years I have worked in many different settings, from providing crisis care, to counseling to clients at Listening Ear Crisis Center, to creating person-centered planning, and using evidence based practices within Community Mental Health Central Michigan, I am a well-rounded clinician who enjoys all walks of therapy.
