“Turn your pain into power.”

Life can often feel like a rollercoaster and every individual is on their own ride. No two rides are ever the same, nor is ones perspective on the experience. As your therapist, I will meet you where you are at and walk along side you on your healing journey in whatever way you would like me to do so. YOU are the expert on your life. I am just here to help you perfect your craft. What I love most about being a therapist is helping individuals turn their pain into power. To do this, I most often utilize a person-centered strengths-based approach as I work diligently to create a safe, non-judgmental, trusting platform for you to flourish.

Prior to beginning my work in my private practice, I was working in hospice/medical social work. I have an extensive background in working with grief and loss and how this applies to individuals outside of death. Other specialties include children and adult children of alcoholics, young adults, life transitions and adjustments, self-esteem, depression, and anxiety. I also work with individuals, couples, and families from diverse racial, ethnic, and cultural backgrounds.
