“Life doesn’t make any sense without interdependence. We need each other, and the sooner we learn that, the better for us all.” — Erik Erikson
I use an Integrative approach to therapy. I try not to tie myself to any one approach. Instead, I blend elements from different approaches and tailor the treatment according to each client’s needs. I use a combination of humanistic therapy and cognitive behavioral therapy. I believe by changing thoughts, people can change how they feel and what they do. I also believe therapists help clients change by emphasizing their concern, care and interest. In addition, I also focus on the importance of being aware of the here and now and accepting responsibility for oneself.
I have experience working with children, adolescents, adults, elderly and couples. Prior to coming to Therapy Today I worked in a small community serving a variety of client’s struggling with a range of different mental health disorders.
