” A denouement is not a complete or fully resolved ending but a satisfying closure to a story. Denouement is the rest that comes when all the disparate plot lines of a story, gnarled and taut, have been untied and an order has come about that brings a new moment of shalom.” ― Dan B. Allender

I am creative in therapy and use a variety of styles based on what is best for the client. I am empathetic, compassionate, and easy to talk to. During counseling, you will receive grace, truth, and time to grow. As your counselor, I will help you identify which parts of your character structure need growth and ways to encourage this growth. Over time, you will find that your life bears healthier and more abundant fruit in the areas of relationships with other people, in your personal life, and in the capacity to function in your world.

I am a 34-year veteran in Director of Christian Education ministry and has served three congregations in the Mid-West. In 2021, I completed a Master of Arts in Counseling degree from The Townsend Institute at Concordia University, Irvine. Soon after graduation, I successfully completed my Limited License Professional Counselor certification and passed the National Counselor Exam. I have also worked as a hospice chaplain, gaining insight into the dying process and helping families in the grieving process. When it fits with the desire of the client, I am happy to bring prayer and Biblical counsel into the therapy sessions.
