Clinical Social Worker

becky.perry@therapytodaycc.com

My approach to therapy is a strengths-based, person-centered focus on your goals. We will build upon what you know already works for you and enhance those skills and add positive elements to your outlook on life.  We will work together to identify thoughts that are automatic and harmful and how to replace those with more realistic and helpful thoughts.

I have worked previously as an outpatient therapist in both private practice and in a Community Mental Health (CMH) setting. I also have experience working as a social worker in a skilled rehab facility and on a college campus. I have worked with young children who display symptoms associated with ADHD, teens and young adults who have difficulty with impulse control and anger issues, families going through transitions, attempting to understand and process their new normal, and trauma. I have many years of experience working with people struggling with depression and anxiety at every stage in life.
